Hi! I am Kommal, the founder of this brand.

After working in the corporate world for around 15 years and working across countries, I decided to re-evaluate my goals and ambitions, and realised that I need to honour the creative potential within me.

Despite all the success and growth achieved on the professional front, there came a time when I realized I didn’t want to work for someone else’s dream. Instead, I decided to work on my dreams to convert them into reality and also make sure I don’t miss out on life’s little everyday moments that make it beautiful — the conversations, the connections, the laughter over a cup of tea.

I used to love pairing up different earrings on different occasions – whether it was an office event, or day to day meetings, whether it was a casual outing or attending a party. And I decided to take this fetish to the next level by wanting to curate a unique collection for women who want to feel stylish and exuberant while juggling every role and situation with grace. That’s how, this brand was born:  from a desire for freedom, creativity, and connection. ‘Luminara’ has been derived from Latin/Italian, and it means "light," or "illumination. In Spanish, luminaria refers to festival before the sacrament.
